鹿島本館
I got a message back from the hotel, so it looks like I’ll have a place to stay in Fukuoka. This drawing is the reason I chose to go there. I’m not sure exactly what I’ll do for three days in Fukuoka, but I’m sure I can manage something. I think I’ll at least try to go to Dazaifu Temple and the museum nearby. Otherwise, I’m thinking of wandering around Tenjin looking at the shops, and then maybe I’ll visit my host family if I get into contact with them. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to contact them or not, so I guess I’ll figure that out when I get there.
決まり
Finalized my dates for my trip to Japan. Going over on the 13th of December, returning on the 20th. I’ll be busy the first day or so, but then I get a few days to explore (and shop!) on my own. I found a cute-looking ryokan in a good location in Fukuoka, I hope they have room for me to stay there!
I’m really exited to be getting a chance to go back to Japan, and I was actually surprised by the good prices the travel agency gave me. I also chose to get a JR West Sanyo Pass, which is slightly pricier than the regular JR Pass, but it allows me to ride on the fast Shinkansen train, the Nozomi. I don’t really have time for a Tokyo excursion, so I think I’m better off this way.
Two weeks! I’m exited. But first, worrying about the JLPT next week!
Japan!
I’ll be going to Japan soon, which I’m looking forward to. Just a short trip this time, but I think it’ll be fun to go back after not having visited for over four years now. I really wish that I’d found time to go sometime in the middle, but sometimes life gets in the way.
I’ve still been studying Japanese, so I think this time I’ll be able to do even better in terms of communicating and interacting. I like learning Japanese, and it’s something that I’ve been working on myself for a good amount of time. Normally I get tired of things after a few weeks, but I’ve been keeping at this and making progress, without even having much of an external force to keep me going at it.
Maybe I’ll get myself a new swanky camera there . . .
